Honda CB1100 Tokyo Motor Show 0 e1344234917430 Import of the Honda CB 1100: Its yes for France (in 2013)!We mentioned again recently on motorcycle-station.com during our week of vintage motorcycle. But since then, two sources – reliable! – We have confirmed the info: Honda CB 1100 is indeed one of the big news for Honda France in 2013! Take stock of this beautiful classic bike that looks good in the neo-retro / vintage time.
Come on, this is no longer an open secret … Confess that we planned to go into more completely in a few days, but the virality of the web (and always looking bike forum-station.com) forces us to reconsider our editorial schedule. Whatever. While officially only has Honda France neither confirmed nor denied this information, another source, that one categorical (and 100% reliable, we believe) we recently confessed:
Honda CB1100 Tokyo Motor Show e1344236604229 Import of the Honda CB 1100: Its yes for France (in 2013)!Honda CB 1100 will indeed be at French catalog of 2013 new motorcycle of the Japanese! After years of dithering, it seems that the reactions of users – especially – have ended up tipping the balance in favor of this promising neo-retro motorcycle. Nobody will complain, then, for sure, this new bike 2013 advance many arguments …
With the Yamaha XJR 1300, the Honda CB 1100 will become the next big one 4-cylinder air-cooled available in France in 2013. But for how many years? In addition to the motor blades, one sees a discreet but this oil cooler to help cool the engine also features an electronic fuel injection.
A beautiful classic bike “made in Japan” as we like
Honda CB1100 Tokyo Motor Show1 e1344236684530 Import of the Honda CB 1100: Its yes for France (in 2013)!First, the Honda CB 1100 2013 inspired much of the great classics of the ’70s and ’80s – including its namesake at the time, the F CB 1100 Super Bol d’Or – a vintage style that tends to become fashionable in Europe, helped indeed by a change in behavior of motorcyclists on the road (requires radar), but also their age, on average above 40 years. An experienced public therefore, income replicas of all types and sensitive to the arguments of motorcycles that do not rely on any performance … without forgetting them.
We have already presented the 1100 CB repeatedly on moto-station.com (not less than 8 in our news wire cur CB 1100 in 4 years). Essentially, remember that the Honda CB 1100 mod. 2013 is equipped with a turbocharged 4-cylinder, air cooled – the only one in 2013, with that of the Yamaha XJR 1300 if it remains in the catalog – with an electronic fuel injection.
A key constraint on the importation into France of this motorcycle involved in the decontamination effect, we know complicated in the case of those big air-cooled engines. We mentioned in a previous article that the Honda CB 1100 was previously present in countries with less restrictive standards than ours, and therefore to confirm that our markets would represent a significant cost.
Honda CB1100 Tokyo Motor Show 2 e1344236741926 Import of the Honda CB 1100: Its yes for France (in 2013)!Classic but tasteful, the Honda CB 1100 uses proven solutions and has a very simple line. But despite appearances, the engineers had to work in depth to clean up its four-cylinder, which explains an expected price of around € 12 000.
Approx. € 12 000 for the Honda CB 1100 in 2013
This is what unfortunately confirms another source with a wave that sweeps the potential to earn BC 1100 2013 to less than € 10 000, as was expected initially. Requires adaptation for France (among others), the Honda CB 1100 will be offered at a price we typed in “premium”, probably around the € 12 000.
A sum certainly, but when we know the build quality of the magnificent Honda CB 1300 S for example, its more modern in the current range sold € 10 990 (on sale, enjoy!), It seems clear that the CB 1100, produced in Japan as the most high-end brand, should also reference in terms of finish. But now await the official announcement and the final press kit before continuing …
